Refund policy

💗 Our 90-Day Return Promise

We want your family to love Colorette as much as we do. If you change your mind, you have 90 days from delivery to send it back.

✉️ STEP 1: Write to us first
Email colorettehelpus@gmail.com with your order number. We'll reply within 1–2 business days with your return steps and address.
(Please don't send anything back before we reply: returns without authorization can't be accepted.)

✅ What can be returned
- Blankets that are unused, unwashed and uncolored
- In their original packaging, with all 24 markers
- Within 90 days of delivery

🖍️ What can't be returned
Once a blanket has been colored, marked, washed or used, it becomes uniquely yours, and it can't be resold. The same goes for opened marker sets, for hygiene reasons.

💸 Return costs
- Return shipping is paid by the customer (we recommend a trackable service, so your return never gets lost).
- A 15% restocking fee is deducted from non-defective returns to cover inspection, repackaging and handling.
- Original shipping and Protected Shipping fees are non-refundable.

💳 Your refund
Once we receive and check your return, we'll email you. Your refund (item price minus the 15% restocking fee) goes back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

📦 Arrived damaged, defective or wrong?
That's on us. Email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a few photos, and we'll send a free replacement or a full refund. No return shipping, no fees.

🛡️ Protected Shipping
Added Protected Shipping at checkout? If your order is lost in transit, stolen after delivery or arrives damaged, email us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date and we'll replace it or refund it. Protected Shipping itself is non-refundable.
Without Protected Shipping, packages marked as delivered by the carrier are the customer's responsibility.

🔄 Exchanges
We don't do direct exchanges, but it's easy: return your item following the steps above and place a new order.

⏰ Cancellations
You can cancel within 12 hours of placing your order. After that, your blanket is already being prepared, but you can still return it once it arrives.

🤝 Before opening a dispute
Talk to us first! We answer within 1–2 business days and solve almost everything faster than a bank ever could.
